Acceptable Use Policy

SendPaper exists so people can send real correspondence: disputes, notices, applications, forms, and personal letters. Every piece is screened before it is quoted. You may not use SendPaper to send anything that:

• Threatens, harasses, intimidates, or stalks anyone.
• Impersonates a government agency, court, law-enforcement body, bank, utility, or company. Writing to the IRS is fine; pretending to be the IRS is not.
• Is a scam, phishing attempt, or deceptive solicitation.
• Is a fake invoice, fake bill, or a collection notice for a debt you are not owed.
• Fakes legal process: fake subpoenas, summonses, court orders, or eviction notices.
• Contains hate speech or targets someone for a protected characteristic.
• Contains sexual content sent to someone who has not asked for it.
• Publishes someone's private information to harm them.
• Is bulk or unsolicited marketing.
• Is sent on behalf of someone other than the account holder.

We also limit how many pieces one account can send, and how many pieces any one address can receive, in a given period. Repeated mail to the same home address is flagged for review.
