What we collect

How we use it

To render, screen, print, mail, fax, track, and bill the pieces you approve; to prevent abuse; and to respond to support and payment disputes. Documents are screened by automated systems, including an AI model, for threats, fraud, and impersonation. Screening results may be reviewed by our staff.

Who we share it with

Print-and-mail and fax vendors (currently PostGrid; a fax vendor when enabled) receive the document and addresses needed to deliver it. Stripe processes payments. Vercel and Neon host the service. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Document content is deleted 30 days after delivery (60 days after creation if never delivered). Metadata, tracking history, and approval records are retained for up to 7 years for tax, dispute, and legal purposes.

AI assistants

When you use SendPaper through an assistant (such as Meta Muse, Claude, or ChatGPT), that assistant's provider also processes your requests under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Email support to access, correct, or delete your data, subject to records we must keep. US residents may have additional rights under state law.
