Terms of Service

1. The service

SendPaper is operated by Havenwood Holdings ("we"). We print and mail letters and sends faxes that you compose and approve through an AI assistant or our website. We are a mailing service. We do not provide legal, tax, or medical advice, and we do not review your documents for legal effect.

2. Your account and sender identity

You must provide your real name and a valid US return address. Both are printed on every piece we send. You may only send on your own behalf. You are responsible for everything sent from your account.

3. Approval, pricing, and payment

Nothing is sent or charged until you approve a specific draft at a specific price. Prices are shown before approval and include printing, postage, and any extra services. Payment is authorized when you approve and captured when the vendor accepts the job. If the vendor rejects the job, the authorization is released.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Letters can be cancelled until the print cut-off shown in the confirmation; after that they are in the postal stream and cannot be recalled. Successful cancellations are refunded in full. We are not responsible for postal delays, misdelivery, or refusal by the recipient.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We screen every document and may refuse, hold for review, or cancel any piece and suspend accounts that violate it. We may report threats or fraud to authorities.

6. Content and records

We keep the rendered document for 30 days after delivery for support and dispute purposes, then delete it. We keep a record of the sender, recipient, time of approval, price, and a cryptographic hash of the document.

7. Liability

Our liability for any piece is limited to the amount you paid for it. The service is provided as is. Certified Mail and return receipts are USPS products; their availability and evidentiary value are governed by USPS rules.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after notice is acceptance.
